Experience

I love travel and photography. I’ve been to places such as Kenya’s Maasai Mara to photograph the Great Migration, and Ecuador’s Galapagos Islands for the tortoises, birds and fish. I’ve lived in Europe for over two years while in the military, traveling extensively. Some of my favorite cities are Prague, Mostar and Colmar. I am proficient in Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom as well as Illustrator and InDesign. I have significant experience with Microsoft Office and other computer programs. I also have over thirty-five years of service in the US Army and Marine Corps, between both Active and Reserve time. I also worked as a police officer in Saint Paul for twenty three years. Both of those jobs have prepared me for difficult situations and given me discipline and resolve.  I speak both Russian and Spanish languages at a functional level.

Background

I am a college student who is working towards my two-year degree in photography, expecting to graduate with an Associate of Arts in Professional Photography in spring 2023. I’m a proficient, self-taught photographer who has specialized in travel, adventure, and wildlife photography. I enjoy travel and getting to unusual or difficult places, am comfortable hiking and carrying my camera backpack over long distances. I am passionate about photography and delivering the best product to the client.
